About The Fire Place
Founded over 1/4 century ago in 1997, The Fire Place is a division of Magic Touch Mechanical, Inc., headquartered in downtown Mesa, AZ. Over 27 years ago, we began offering gas fireplace repair & maintenance to our heating & air clients as an ‘add-on’ service offering. Over the years we received more and more requests for fireplace service, repairs, upgrades, and complete fireplace remodels.
It got to the point where we went from a heating company that also worked on fireplaces, to a fireplace company that also workied on heating & air! Our fireplace service division was the fastest growing department of our compnay & eventually even outgrew our HVAC department! So the decision was made to seperate the two and ‘The Fire Place’ is today a full service fireplace, fire pit & fire feature company offering a wide aray of fire products, services & remodel.

When someone asks what we do for a living, we reply, we design & install fireplaces that transform spaces.
Yes, we’re a fireplace store that sells fireplaces. Yes, we repair, clean, & maintain fireplaces (even if you didn’t buy it from us). We’re also licensed heating contractors, remodeling contractors, and AC & ventilation contractors. We have expert electricians, plumbers, and framers on staff. We’re also the only fireplace installer within 100 miles of Phoenix with an NFI Certified Hearth Design Specialist in-house.
However, ultimately all that results in one thing for our clients … a fireplace that transforms their space!
Our showroom & design center in Mesa, AZ is a testament to our love of fireplaces & fire pits. With dozens of types and models from multiple brands on full display, there’s something for everyone’s style, home, and budget.
Over the last 27 years our HVAC division has installed literally thousands of heating & air systems. We’ve enjoyed an impeccable reputation for decades as a result, but nobody really wants a new AC unit! Nobody really loves their new AC unit (the comfort yes, but we still buy them only because we must, not because we want to).
A new fireplace however transforms the entire room, a new fire pit is the focal point of your backyard when entertaining. Watch any Million Dollar Listing episode and you can bet they show the fireplace every time. However, they never show the AC unit!
We see our clients’ posting photos & videos of their new fireplace or fireplace makeover on social media all the time. We get compliments, fantastic reviews, referrals, even hugs from our fireplace clients. They’re proud of their new space and it brings them joy, which brings us joy … and that’s why we love fireplaces!
